Day 1 Day 1 – Depart U.S.A

Day 2 Day 2 –Arrive Warsaw
Get rested for tomorrow.
Day 3 Day 3 – Warsaw - Niepokalanow - Czestochowa
After breakfast, we will enjoy a panoramic tour of Warsaw, the capital of Poland. Then, we depart to Niepokalanow, home of the Basilica of the Virgin Mary, and a Franciscan Monastery founded by St. Maximillian Kolbe. Then, to Czestochowa to visit Jasna Gora Monastery and see the Black Madonna at the Gothic Chapel of Our Lady. Time at leisure and devotion in Czestochowa. Join in the Rosary Procession at the Monastery.
Day 4 Day 4 – Czestochowa - Auschwitz - Wadowice
Early morning visit to the shrine for the unveiling of the Icon of the Black Madonna. Proceed to Auschwitz to see the martyrdom place of St. Maximilian Kolbe and later to Birkenau, martyrdom place of St. Edith Stein. On to Wadowice to visit the local Parish and Church and the birthplace of Pope John Paul 11. Continue to Krakow.
Day 5 Day 5 – Krakow - Lagiewniki - Wieliczka
Our morning tour will include visits to Wawel Hill, the Royal Chambers and Cathedral. Then walk along Kanonicza Street, pausing at building #21 “Deanery”, where Pope John Paul II resided while living in Krakow. Then to the Mariacki Church and the Market Square. We will spend the afternoon in “Divine Mercy Shrine” to visit the Shrine’s grounds and Basilica. Then to Wieliczka to see Europe’s oldest salt mines. The mines are a unique place where many generations of Polish miners have created a world of underworld chambers and decorated chapels carved out of salt including the famous Chapel of St. Kinga.
Day 6 Day 6 – Krakow - Prague
This morning we drive towards Prague, capital of the Czech Republic. Time permitting, we stop in Olomouc to celebrate Mass and enjoy a panoramic tour passing by the Town Hall to see the Holy Trinity Column. Arrive Prague late in the afternoon.
Day 7 Day 7 – Prague
Full day of sightseeing in Prague focusing on Hradcany Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Royal Castle, St. George’s Basilica, St. Nicholas and later the Church of Our Lady Victorious, where we see the Statue of the Infant Jesus of Prague. Later, cross Charles Bridge visiting the old town, the market square “Astronomical clock” and Wenceslas Square.
Day 8 Day 8 – Prague - Vienna
Today, we depart Prague and drive towards Austria. Arrive Vienna, the “City of Waltz” and one of Europe’s loveliest cities.
Day 9 Day 9 – Vienna
Our morning tour of Vienna takes us to the old town, walking through the university and Opera House, passing by many of Vienna’s landmarks such as the Hofburg Palace, Albertina, Donner Fountain, Spanish riding school and St. Stephen Cathedral. In the afternoon, we continue toward Schonbrunn Palace for a tour of the Palace and Gardens
Day 10 Day 10 –Vienna - Budapest
We depart to Budapest, stopping at Frauenkirchen; the town carrying the name of the Shrine is beautifully nestled by Lake Neusiedler. The shrine is home to a miraculous figure of the Virgin. Continue to Budapest.
Day 11 Day 11 – Budapest
Morning sightseeing tour includes the older section: Buda, located on the right bank of the Danube River where the Royal Castle, the Cathedral of St. Matthew, and Fisherman ‘s Bastion can be found. Enjoy views of the NeoGothic Parliament, Hero’s Square and the Cathedral of St. Stephen. ln the afternoon, we take a Danube River Cruise and enjoy time at leisure and shopping. In the evening, we will have our farewell dinner in a local restaurant with Gypsy entertainment.
Day 12 Day 12 – Return to USA
