Our pilgrimage begins as we depart Los Angeles on flight AM649 at 7:02AM, Arrive Mexico City at 12:50PM, After checking through immigration and customs, proceed to the exit door to meet with our tour guide and bus driver. Drive to Puebla for a panoramic city tour before checking into our hotel.

Our tour of Puebla will include visits to the Cathedral and the Rosary Chapel with its stunning tiled and gold-leafed walls. On to Tlaxcala and the shrine of San Miguel del Milagro where St. Michael the Archangel appeared to Juan Diego Lazaro and told him of a miraculous spring. Continue to Ocotlan to visit the pilgrimage church and see the image of Our Lady burnt into a tree trunk after she appeared to Juan Diego Bernardino in 1541. In the afternoon, we’ll drive to the famous silver mining town of Taxco, nestled in the rugged mountains of the Sierra Madre. We will stroll through the cobble-stone streets, visiting Santa Prisca Church with its Baroque altarpieces.

Depart Taxco for the scenic drive to Cuernavaca, city of eternal springs. Here we will explore the market and the church area with its beautiful garden. Continue our drive to Xochimilco, the floating gardens where we will enjoy a boat ride including entertainment of Mariachi music. Continue to our hotel in Mexico City.

Today, we will spend the day in Mexico City. Visit the impressive complex and one of Mexico’s holiest shrines, “Our Lady of Guadalupe.” Visit the New Basilica that houses the sacred image of the virgin (Tilma), and the old Basilica. Walk up Tepeyac Hill and the surrounding gardens. Then a panoramic city tour that includes the plaza of the three cultures, the zocalo, the Metropolitan Cathedral and the National Palace.

Today, we will drive to Teotihuacan, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in Mexico with countless monumental structures, including the pyramids of the Sun and Moon, framed with the mile-long Avenue of the Dead. In the afternoon, drive back to The Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe to join pilgrims from all over in the Mass of the Roses.

Transfer to the Shrine of Gudalupe to say goodbye to our Lady and then to the airport.  Depart on AM642 at 1:15PM.  Arrive Los Angeles at 3:42PM
