Check in at the hotel. Transfer to the Urca neighborhood, where Sugar Loaf is located. The visit is made in two steps by cable car. The first one takes passengers to Urca Hill, which is 215 meters high and offers beautiful views of Guanabara Bay and its islands, the Rio-Niterói bridge, and Corcovado Hill. From this stage, a second cable car will take you to the top of the mountain at 395 meters, offering a splendid view of Copacabana beach, the Santa Cruz fortress, and some beaches in Niterói. Visit to a Samba School (groups of 4,000 to 5,000 persons in each “school”), “barracão” (large sheds where all preparation for the parade takes place). Fantastic behind the “scenes” visit. Depart fromRio on your flight to Iguassu Falls. Arrival and transfer to your hotel for check-in. Half-day of Brazilian Falls. Leaving the hotel, the tour will cross the Tancredo Neves Bridge into Brazil, pass through the Brazilian countryside, and enter the Iguassu National Park, the largest in southern Brazil. Visit the park’s visitor center, which features an exhibit on the local ecosystem. Continue down the Cataratas Highway through the rainforest of the park to the falls. Leaving Buenos Aires, we will travel to the countryside to spend a day at a cattle ranch, learning about its customs and traditions. This is the land of an appetizing barbecue, called “asado”, of the folk dances and singing of their festive days, and watching a “gaucho” demonstrating his mastery and skill riding and taming horses, as well as a show with a troop of horses and a ring race.
