Daily Itinerary

Day 1 Wednesday, May 29 - Departure

Depart on flight LH457 at 3:00 PM to Frankfurt.

Day 2 Thursday, May 30

Upon arrival in Frankfurt at 10:40 AM, connect on LH1128 to Barcelona at 1:10pm. We land in Barcelona’s airport at 03:10pm. Meet our tour escort after the baggage claim area and drive to the city center for a guided tour, including panoramic views of the harbor area, Montjuic, Plaza de Espana, and Plaza de Catalunya, before we check in at our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 Friday, May 31 – Barcelona

After breakfast, we will drive to visit Tibidabo Hill, where we can celebrate Mass at the Sacred Heart church. Return to Barcelona, Time at leisure for lunch and personal activities at Las Ramblas. We will then visit Barcelona Cathedral, followed by a visit to Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia a magnificent, unfinished Roman Catholic basilica of impressive proportions. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Saturday, June 1 – Barcelona, Montserrat, Manresa, Andorra

Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, we drive to Montserrat. Upon arrival, we will visit the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Montserrat, the spiritual heart of Catalonia and home to a dramatically set Benedictine monastery. For 700 years, this Marian shrine has attracted thousands of pilgrims worldwide. We pause here to visit the Black Madonna of Montserrat, probably Spain’s most fervent devotion to the Blessed Mother- Break for lunch. Continue our journey to Manresa, where we will visit the cave of St Ignatius. Saint Ignatius of Loyola stopped here in 1522 on his way back from Montserrat. While there, he found solitude in this cave for a year, and sketched the fundamentals of his book The Spiritual Exercises. Our final destination for Today is Andorra la Vella, where we will spend the night. After checking in at our hotel, we have time for shopping, taking advantage of the free tax zone to buy the most famous brands at a very discounted rate. Dinner at the hotel

Day 5 Sunday, June 2 – Andorra, Lourdes

After breakfast, we check out and celebrate Mass at the Marian Srhine of our Lady of Merritxell. Today, we will cross the border with France travelling throughout the Pyrenees, to reach Lourdes, where we arrive in the afternoon. Check in at the hotel, dinner. Join the candles light procession, return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 6 Monday, June 3 – Lourdes

We spend the day in Lourdes. We visit the historical and spiritual sites associated with the visionary child Bernadette. We begin at the Grotto of the Apparitions and then continue on a guided walking tour visiting the Basilica of St. Pius X, Boly Mill, the Soubirous family home, the Basilica of the Rosary, the miraculous spring and the healing baths. Celebrate Mass. After dinner, we will join in the nightly rosary and candlelight procession. Dinner and overnight. Accommodations will be at the hotel.

Day 7 Tuesday, June 4 – TGV to Paris Lisieux

After breakfast, we check out and transfer to the train station, we will embark the TGV fast train to Paris. Upon arrival in Paris, we will continue to Lisieux. Check-in at the hotel where we will spend the next two nights Dinner and overnight. Mass will be celebrated either in Lourdes in the early morning or in Lisieux upon arrival, according to the train departure time.

Day 8 Wednesday, June 5- Lisieux, Honflreur, Lisieux

After breakfast, we visit the Buissonnets house, where St Therese lived her childhood, St Peter’s Cathedral, that was the parish for St Thérése and her family. It was here, in a chapel that St Thérèse, along with her family, attended the Sunday Mass, she received many Eucharistic graces there. Continue to the Carmel chapel that contains the tomb of Saint Thérèse, she is represented there lying on her deathbed wearing the habit of the Carmelite order. We have time to visit also the Carmel Museum, to see the numerous authentic object. Celebrate Mass and then, we drive to the village of Honfleur. enjoy time at leisure in the city centre. Honfleur is perhaps one of the prettiest harbours in all of France. Take the advantage to have a very special seafood lunch, Local specialities include Moules (mussels) and fish. In the late afternoon, we will return to Lisieux, dinner and overnight.

Day 9 Thursday, June 6 – Lisieux, Mont St Michel

Breakfast and check out. Then we will drive towards the Normandy coast. We will spend the afternoon in Mont St Michel, We will visit the Monastery of Le Mont St. Michele, also known as ‘The Wonder of the Western World’. It is given this name because the Monastery is surrounded by a magnificent bay that has one of the greatest tidal ranges in Europe, resulting in a breathtaking view. In 709, this Monastery was built and consecrated by Aubert, Bishop of Avranches, at the request of Michael the Archangel. Since the ninth century, the Abbey has been home to a monastic community to ensure the continuation of a spiritual presence. For centuries, it has been a place of pilgrimage for those who seek Eternal Life with God. Check-in, dinner at the hotel, and overnight.

Day 10 Friday, June 7 - Mont St Michel, Chartres Paris

Breakfast and check out- Depart towards Paris. We will stop in Chartres., known worldwide for its massive Cathedral Notre Dame, and its incredible stained glass windows from the 12th and 13th century. The World Heritage site, UNESCO, calls the Cathedral “the high point of French Gothic art” and a “masterpiece”. – Arrive in Paris in the late afternoon. Check in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 11 Saturday, June 8 - Full day in Paris

After breakfast, we will celebrate Mass at the Miraculous Medal chapel. It was here where Our Lady appeared to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830. Then we enjoy a panoramic tour including, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame Cathedral, a stunning example of Gothic architecture that took two centuries and armies of medieval workers to complete. Due to the tragic fire, we will only be able to view from the outside. We then visit Sainte-Chapelle “Holy Chapel”, and its stained-glass, that is considered the best of their type in the world. Break for lunch, in the afternoon we will have a Seine River cruise, then, drive up to Montmartre for a view of the city of Paris and visiting the amazing Basilica of Sacred Heart. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 12 Sunday, June 9 - Paris, Nevers, Paris

After breakfast, depart for Nevers by way of the picturesque Loire Valley to view the incorrupt body of St. Bernadette. After taking the veil in 1867, St. Bernadette lived for 12 years as a member of the Congregation of the Sisters of NeveArs. St. Bernadette’s incorrupt body at the Convent of St. Gildard, is miraculously preserved since her death in 1879 We will visit the Espace Bernardette, celebrate Mass and in the afternoon we return to Paris for dinner and overnight.

Day 13 Monday, June 10 Paris – Beauring, Bruxelles

After breakfast, we check out and depart Paris towards Belgium. In the late morning, we will reach Beauring, a small village only three miles from the French border. Our Lady appeared to five children ranging in age from 9 to 15: Fernande, Gilberte, Albert, Andrew, and Gilbert in 33 apparitions between November 1932and January 1933 She asked for prayer and sacrifice and promised to bring people to conversion. On December 4, 1932, Our Lady identified herself to the children, saying: ‘I am the Immaculate Virgin.’ She is known as the “Virgin of the Golden Heart” because the children saw a golden heart in the center of her chest. We will celebrate Mass and continue to Brussels. Panoramic tour of the city before checking in at the hotel, dinner and overnight.

Day 14 Tuesday, June 11 – Bruges

After breakfast, we will depart Brussels to Bruges. We will visit the Basilica of the Holy Blood, where, according to the tradition, is preserved a vial containing a drop of the blood of Christ, brought here after the second Crusade in 1550. Proceed to the Church of Our Lady, to see the Michelangelo’s Madovva with child. We then enjoy time at leisure in the historic centre that was added to the Unesco’s World Heritage List - We will also enjoy time at leisure, for an optional ride along the canals or for shopping, before returning to Brussels for dinner and overnight.

Day 15 Wednesday, June 12 - Departure

Early in the morning, we will transfer to the airport and take our flight LH2283 at 8:55 AM to Munich, arriving at 10:10 AM. Transfer on flight LH452 at 12:15 PM to LAX, arriving at 3:15 PM.
